Lithium-antidepressant combinations in the treatment of depressed, physically ill geriatric patients
Abstract
The combination of low-dose lithium therapy and antidepressant drugs produced rapid, lasting remission of depression in five physically ill geriatric patients. Low serum lithium levels helped ensure safety of treatment.
