Twelve Months' Experience with the GAP Classification of Childhood Disorders
Abstract
The authors describe their assessment of the value of the new GAP classification of childhood disorders, which took place after this system had been in use in their facility for a year, during which time 310 children were seen. They also compare the GAP classification with DSM-I and DSM-II. While they express overall satisfaction with the GAP classification, they believe that certain changes (which they outline) are warranted.
