THERAPEUTIC IMPORTANCE OF EXTRA-PYRAMIDAL PHENOMENA EVOKED BY A NEW PHENOTHIAZINE
Abstract
The neurological manifestations evoked RP 7843 were observed to be analogous with those of epidemic encephalitis. These extra-pyramidal disturbances are of value because of the associated therapeutic benefit but also for the control of dosage and as prognostic pointers. This sulphamoyl phenothiazine is of extraordinary value in the treatment of all stages of schizophrenia and raises new theoretical considerations.
