There was an error in the obituary of David M. Levy, M.D., in the August 1977 issue. The first sentence of the second paragraph on page 934 should read as follows: He was director of the Institute of Juvenile Research (the first of the modern child guidance clinics), chief of staff of the Institute of Child Guidance in New York, clinical professor of psychiatry at Columbia University, president of the American Psychoanalytic Association, and a founder of the Columbia University Psychoanalytic Clinic for Training and Research.

The staff regrets these errors.
