In a survey of the bedwetting history of 118 adult clinic patients with idiopathic epilepsy it was found that 20 (17%) were enuretic past the age of 3, which is similar to the incidence of enuresis in the general population between the ages of 3 to 15. The weight of scientific evidence does not support the belief of a similar etiology for the two disorders.
