TOTAL MEDICAL TREATMENT: REPORT OF A FIVE-YEAR STUDY

This is a report of a 5-year research investigation and trial, seeking to determine the size and shape of adequate, effective treatment for sick persons. This treatment has been entitled Total Medical Treatment.

The treatment has been discussed under three headings: the Total Appraisal, the Total Plan, the Total Effort. An illustrative case is described. Twelve basic principles are presented. An impression is given of the effectiveness of this treatment.
