Abstract
This study of 172 Funkenstein tests administered to 48 newly admitted female schizophrenics and scored by 4 methods echoes the sentiment expressed by most authors in recent years, i.e., the Funkenstein test offers little in the way of predicting the treatment of choice or the prognosis that can be expected.
