PAROXYSMAL AURICULAR TACHYCARDIA APPARENTLY RESULTING FROM COMBINED THYROID-IMIPRAMINE TREATMENT
Abstract
Auricular tachycardia occurred during combined thyroid-imipramine therapy. Animal studies suggest that the toxicity of both imipramine and MAO inhibitors may be increased in states of hyperthyroidlism. The mechanisms involved are under study.
