In the reply by Linda A. Teplin, Ph.D., to the letters "A Reanalysis of Arrest Rates" by Elliott Hammett, M.D., and associates and by James A. Wells, Ph.D., and Howard Zonana, M.D. (May 1986 issue, p. 676), the chi-square value in column 2 at the end of paragraph 5 was incorrect. The value should read: "χ2=1.612 (corrected for continuity), n.s." The staff regrets the error.
