When the article “Defining Recovery From Alcohol Use Disorder: Development of an NIAAA Research Definition,” by Brett T. Hagman, Ph.D., et al. (doi: 10.1176/appi.ajp.21090963) was published online on April 12, 2022, Table 1 incorrectly reported that the Recovery Science Research Collaborative’s definition of recovery from substance use disorder is an abstinence-focused one.
