Behcet's disease as psychiatric disorder: a case report

The author describes a man in whom a progressive psychiatric syndrome was the predominant manifestation of Behcet's disease. Incorrect labelling of his illness as functional may have contributed to the evolution of a permanently disabling dementia from a potentially treatable brain disease.
