Abstract
Page 452 of the October 1972 issue of the Journal contains a minor error that might lead to misinterpretation of the data in the article "Methadone: Some Aspects of Its Legal and Illegal Use," by Weppner, Stephens, and Conrad. Under the heading "Extent of Methadone Use," the second sentence should read: "Further analysis also showed that 65 persons, or 19 percent, had, at some time, both used methadone illegally and participated in a legitimate methadone maintenance program, although not necessarily simultaneously."
