text A A A

In the “Practice Guideline for the Treatment of Patients With Eating Disorders, Third Edition” (July supplement), some text is missing.

In Section I.B.1.a., “Coordinating care and collaborating with other clinicians” (page 5), a second paragraph should follow:

“When a patient is managed by an interdisciplinary team in an outpatient setting, communication among the professionals is essential to monitoring the patient’s progress, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plan, and delineating the specific roles and tasks of each team member [I].”

In the guideline versions available in print format from American Psychiatric Publishing and online through the APA website, the paragraph appears as intended.
