Abstract
In "Psychological Manifestations of Nonbacterial Thrombotic Endocarditis" by Thomas B. Mackenzie, M.D., and Michael K. Popkin, M.D., in the August 1980 issue, the last sentence of the first paragraph on page 972 should be, "It is generally considered to be a hypercoagulable state." The staff regrets this error.
