A cooperative venture for the provision of comprehensive mental health care to students and faculty of the many small colleges in the Boston community is described. In addition to offering the major advantages of a single-college mental health unit, this multiple-college center also affords a means of pooling meager resources, anonymity to those seeking help, and a unique opportunity for research on college populations.
