Abstract
One may be admitted to the health care services of the U.S.S.R. through the polyclinics, the emergency service, the school health services, or the occupational health services. In this description of how the components operate and interact, the author notes that he was particularly impressed with the system of handling emergencies, which he feels is deserving of serious study for its possible application in the U.S.
