In the April 2009 article "Identification of a Schizophrenia-Associated Functional Noncoding Variant in NOS1AP" by Naomi S. Wratten, Ph.D., et al. (published online March 2, 2009; doi: 10.1176/appi.ajp.2008.08081266), the designations of the alleles of the T/C polymorphisms associated with schizophrenia for the SNPs that did not exhibit an effect on gene expression (rs1415263 and rs4145621) were reversed. This affected the last sentence of the first paragraph of the Results section and the appearance of Figure 2. The last sentence of the first paragraph of the Results section should have read: "The alleles in linkage disequilibrium with schizophrenia were T for rs1415263, C for rs4145621, and A for rs12742393." Figure 2 as it should have appeared is presented below.
