In the “Practice Guideline for the Psychiatric Evaluation of Adults, Second Edition” (June supplement), production errors caused some information to appear in incorrect locations. In Table 1, the following question to consider was incorrectly listed within the “Review of Systems” domain: “Are heritable illnesses present in family members that relate to the patient’s presenting symptoms?” It should have been listed within the “Family History” domain. On page 16, the heading “4. Use of Diagnostic Tests, Including Psychological and Neuropsychological Tests” should precede the paragraph that begins “Laboratory tests are included in a psychiatric evaluation….” On page 26, the heading “A. Interviewing Approaches” should precede the paragraph that begins “Some research, predominantly conducted in primary care settings, has examined the differences between specific interviewing approaches.” In the guideline versions available in print format from American Psychiatric Publishing and online through the APA website, all information appears as intended.
