In this clinical case conference, the authors begin by presenting vignettes to capture the diversity of bridge suicide. They then examine the demographic characteristics of those who commit suicide from the bridge as well as the fatal attraction of the Golden Gate Bridge. Interviews with jump survivors and potential jumpers are presented, and the authors examine the evidence for the efficacy of suicide barriers.
