Spring Grove Hospital Center, a progressive, publicly funded, freestanding psychiatric hospital is currently seeking to hire several full-time board certified Psychiatrists. Spring Grove Hospital Center is a 388 bed complex that provides a broad spectrum of inpatient psychiatric services to adults and adolescents. The center is owned and operated by the State of Maryland and is under the governance of the Mental Hygiene Administration of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

Spring Grove was founded in 1797 and is the second oldest continuously operating psychiatric hospital in the United States, fully accredited and certified. We have an ongoing commitment to providing psychiatric care and treatment of the highest quality. We also maintain a number of student teaching programs and serve as a popular training site for many professional schools including the University of Maryland.

We are located on a scenic 200 acre campus in Catonsville just outside of Baltimore, Maryland and conveniently located along the I-95 corridor between Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
