In "Untreated Initial Psychosis: Its Relation to Quality of Life and Symptom Remission in First-Episode Schizophrenia" by Ho et al. (2000; 157:808815), the last paragraph under Subjects (p. 809) should read, "This report focuses on 74 first-episode, neuroleptic-naive subjects (46 men and 28 women) who had DSM-IV schizophrenia by the 6-month follow-up. At the time of intake into our longitudinal study, 51 subjects had a diagnosis of schizophrenia, 15 had schizophreniform disorder, two had schizotypal personality disorder, two had substance-induced psychotic disorder, one had major depressive disorder with psychotic features, and three had psychotic disorder not otherwise specified. The mean age at intake into the study was 24.7 years (SD=5.8)."
