Correction

In the September 1981 issue, the article "Concentrations of Desipramine in Elderly Women" by Neal R. Cutler, M.D., Anthony P. Zavadil III, M.D., Carl Eisdorfer, M.D., Ph.D., Richard J. Ross, M.D., Ph.D., and William Z. Potter, M.D., Ph.D., contained two sentences that require clarification. The second sentence of the first paragraph on page 1236 should read, "It is conceivable that these drugs influenced the metabolism of desipramine for patients 2 and 7: the plasma concentrations of desipramine fell below the observed range." The fourth sentence of the third paragraph on page 1236 should read, "One other patient, who dropped out of the study in a preliminary stage and was therefore not included in table 1, switched into mania after 5 days of taking desipramine."
