Interactions of risk factors in predicting suicide

The authors examined interactions among risk factors for suicide, a
strategy not typically followed in suicide research. Their results suggest
an explanation for gender differences in suicide rates and qualifications
in the relationship between hopelessness and suicide based on history of
drug and alcohol abuse.
