Blunted growth hormone (GH) responses to growth hormone-releasing factor
(GH-RF) and clonidine have been reported in patients with panic disorder.
In this study GH-RF and clonidine were administered to 13 patients with
panic disorder and 20 healthy volunteers. Compared to the normal subjects,
the patients with panic disorder had significantly blunted GH responses
after both GH-RF and clonidine.
