Corrections
In the reply by Owen M. Wolkowitz, M.D., et al. to the letter "Antiglucocorticoid Effects of DHEA-S in Alzheimer's Disease" (August 1992, p. 1126), there are several changes involving references. In the 20th line of the second paragraph, reference "2" rather than "4" should follow the word "rats," and in the next line, references "5" and "6" should follow "activities." In the third paragraph, the first sentence should end with reference "7." On the ninth line of that paragraph reference "6" should follow the word "imbalances" and in the next line reference "7" should follow "pregnenolone." Reference 6 is "Roberts E, Fitten LJ: Serum steroid levels in two old men with Alzheimer's disease (AD) before, during and after oral administration of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). Pregnenolone may become rate-limiting in aging, in The Biological Role of Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). Edited by Kalimi M, Regelson W. Berlin, de Gruyter, 1990, pp 43-63."
