The authors report three cases of panic disorder with agoraphobia in
children, with characteristic panic attacks, separation anxiety, and fear
and avoidance of crowds and public places. The panic and agoraphobic
symptoms responded to medications effective with agoraphobic adults, i.e.,
imipramine and alprazolam.
