Prevalence of clinically significant depressive symptoms in black and white patients in family practice settings

The authors administered the Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale to 764 black
and 773 white adult outpatients in primary care settings. There was no
significant difference between the races in prevalence of depressive
symptoms or distribution of symptom severity levels.
