Generalization of the effects of unilateral and bilateral ECT
CM Swartz and G Larson
The correlation coefficients among four different measures of seizure
duration (motor activity, EEG spikes, EEG total, tachycardia) were
substantially lower with unilateral than bilateral ECT. This suggests that
unilateral ECT is less well generalized through the brain than bilateral
ECT.
