PJ Sorgi, JJ Ratey and S Polakoff
The authors conducted a chart review to determine the effect of beta
blockers on chronic assaultiveness in seven patients with chronic
schizophrenia. Six of the patients showed improvement. Four of the seven
showed a greater than 70% decrease in actual assaults.
