Alprazolam-induced manic episode in two patients with panic disorder
JC Pecknold and D Fleury

developed a manic episode. Two biological markers--shortened REM latency
and nonsuppression on the dexamethasone suppression test-- suggested that
both patients may have had an underlying affective disorder.
