Interepisode consistency of dexamethasone suppression test results in affective disorders
DA Brizer, RP Brown, JH Kocsis and PE Stokes
Twenty-two patients with recurrent affective disorders received 1-mg
dexamethasone suppression tests (DSTs) during multiple hospitalizations.
Interepisode consistency of DST results was found in 82% of the subjects,
which supports the use of this test as a predictor of relapse.
