The dexamethasone suppression test in bulimia

Nineteen (35%) of 55 women with bulimia failed to exhibit cortisol
suppression after dexamethasone administration. Although there was no
statistically significant difference between suppressors and nonsuppressors
on any clinical variable, there was a higher frequency of major depression
among nonsuppressors.
