Effect of cocaine dependence on plasma phenylalanine and tyrosine levels and on urinary MHPG excretion

Eight cocaine-dependent subjects had significantly lower urinary 3-
methoxy-4-hydroxyphenylglycol excretion than did eight normal control
subjects. Cocaine-dependent subjects also had lower plasma tyrosine levels
but not to a statistically significant degree.
