Depression in the spouses of demented patients
LS Goldman and DJ Luchins
The authors present three cases of depression requiring hospitalization in
spouses of patients with progressive dementia. They discuss the stress of
caring for demented people and the need for clinicians to inquire about
depressive symptoms in care givers.
