Desipramine in the treatment of hypersomnolence following abrupt cessation of cocaine use

Two heavy abusers of cocaine experienced dysphoric hypersomnolent
withdrawal following abrupt cessation of use. Desipramine quickly reversed
the withdrawal symptoms in both patients, although it did not prevent their
future use of cocaine.
