An indication for use of imipramine in attention deficit disorder

Many children with attention deficit disorder also meet DSM-III criteria for separation anxiety disorder, the symptoms of which cluster in four of the nine criteria. In a study of 14 boys with both diagnoses, the attention deficit disorder of every boy responded to imipramine.
