The efficacy of cognitive and behavior therapies for depression

This selective overview looks at the effectiveness of behavior therapy,
cognitive-behavior therapy, and cognitive therapy for depressive disorders.
The outcome of single-case studies, comparative treatment projects with
volunteers, and clinical trials with outpatients are used to evaluate the
current state of the art and to suggest future research directions.
