Corrections
There were two errors in the Conclusions of "
-Aminobutyric Acid (Gaba) and the Dopamine Hypothesis of Schizophrenia" by Daniel P. van Kammen (Feburary 1977 issue, p. 142). In the first paragraph of that section, the third sentence should have read as follows: According to a personal communication from Snyder and Wyatt in 1976, the activity of Gaba receptors in brains of deceased schizophrenic patients is not different from the activity in brains of deceased normal control subjects. In the third paragraph, the second sentence should have read as follows: Muscimol, a relatively specific Gaba receptor agonist, was developed in 1968 (40).
The staff regrets these errors.
