Controversy in medicine and psychiatry

Factual and ethical controversies confront physicians in medicine as well
as in psychiatry. If psychiatrists can impart a perspective on these
controversies and their growth-stimulating quality to medical students and
thereby increase their tolerance for uncertainty, they will aid them in
becoming better physicians and will perhaps also remove one reason for
their disinterest in psychiatry.
