ALAN CHALLMAN M.D.1

1 Clinical Professor Emeritus, Department of Psychiatry, University of Minnesota Medical School, Minneapolis, and is in private practice at 1941 Medical Arts Building, Minneapolis, Minn. 55402

Worry is a good example of self-inflicted suffering; it is so commonly experienced that it provides anyone who cares to introspect a convenient opportunity for further self-understanding and thereby a reduction in personal suffering.
