This paper presents data from a crisis evaluation questionnaire administered to 50 adolescents admitted to the Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center. Analysis of the questionnaire delineated four crisis behaviorssuicidal, aggressive, psychotic, and psychotic-drugas the reasons for hospitalization. Each behavioral group was evaluated in terms of life situation areas covered by the questionnaire. Analysis of results identified characteristic life situations for each group, which could be used to differentiate the four groups.
