The authors report the experience of themselves and others with the Langner Scale, a 22-item self-rated nzeasure of psychiatric impairment. Noting that there are high correlations between this scale and other psychometric tests that measure aspects of psychopathology, they conclude that it is a useful instrument in clinical assessment.
