The Safety of a Single Daily Dose Schedule for Imipramine

One reason for the traditional administration of medication in divided doses is that this is assumed to be safer than administration in single doses. The authors' analysis of clinical and laboratory data from 43 adult patients supports the view that imipramine hydrochloride may safely be given in a single nightly dose.
