Psychiatric Consultations for Psychiatrists

The psychiatrist, working usually in isolation, has more difficulties in communication about his patients than do other specialists. A more frequent use of consultation from psychiatric colleagues is advanced as a means of overcoming this problem and as an important step in the training and maturation of any psychotherapist. The author cites examples from his own experience.
