Some Typical Patterns in the Behavior and Background of Adolescent Girls Who Attempt Suicide

Adolescent girls who attempt suicide are often victims of chaotic, disrupted families, condemnation, and isolation. Rejection by a boyfriend, repeating the initial rejection by the family, often precedes the suicide attempt. A treatment outline involving the entire family is presented.
