Theoretical and Empirical Bases of Community Mental Health

Community mental health has sturdy empirical bases in pastpublic health experience and current health needs. Its applicationshould be both controversial and highly rewarding in contributingto knowledge of social dynamics. An adaptation of general systemstheory is proposed as a model for community mental health theory.
