Unraveling the Phobic Defense

The phobic reactions are specific neurotic patterns of reaction which are widespread in their occurrence and result in substantial individual suffering and handicap. As such they deserve a larger measure of attention and study. The author recommends seeking further understanding of the phobic reactions as a group and individually through their elucidation in therapy.
