The Army and the Untrained "Psychiatrist"

The Army's On-the-Job Training program in psychiatry offers the young physician an opportunity to test his interest in specialization and may serve as a prelude to formal residency training. The author details his two-year experience in the program, pointing up its advantages for the young medical officer.
