ALCOHOLISM, PAROLE OBSERVATIONS AND CRIMINAL RECIDIVISM: A STUDY OF 116 PAROLEES

A detailed analysis of the parole records of 116 parolees indicated that the men who received a diagnosis of alcoholism had significantly higher criminal recidivism rates than did the nonalcoholics.
