TRANSIENT BRAIN SYNDROME AS A NON-FATAL REACTION TO COMBINED PARGYLINE IMIPRAMINE TREATMENT

A case of toxic reaction to combined pargyline—imipramine treatment is described, consisting of a mild acute brain syndrome and cardio-vascular irritability. Discussion of the possible toxic mechanism is given. The need for careful drug history is pointed out.
